Daniel Craig Workout




A Daniel Craig workout starts out with some basics on training scheduling. Your week will be starting with a full-body power circuit routine that combines muscle-blasting moves, done 10 reps for each circuit with a total of three circuits. Then the rest of the week will be all about your chest, arms, legs, shoulders, and other major muscle groups to ensure that you are able to fill out your clothes in the same way that James Bond is able to fill out his tuxedos. For these workouts, stick to 4 sets with 10 reps each. Take the weekend off but you don’t have the luxury to be lax so opt to do a mid-paced run or some easy cardio and stretch.

Actual workout schedule:

  •         Monday: (Power Circuit) clean and press, weighted knee raises, weighted step-ups, pull-ups, inclined pushups, and triceps dips


  •         Tuesday: (Chest and Back) inclined bench press, pull-ups, inclined pushups, and inclined pectoral fly

  •         Wednesday: (Legs) squats, straight-leg deadlifts, hamstring curls, and weighted lunges

  •         Thursday: (Shoulders and Arms) inclined biceps curls, triceps dips, lateral raises, and shoulder presses

  •         Friday: (Power Circuit) clean and press, weighted knee raises, weighted step-ups, pull-ups, inclined pushups, and triceps dips

  •         Saturday: steer clear of the weights but do stretch and engage in light cardio like hiking or biking or running

  •         Sunday: still a rest day from the weights, stretching and light cardio still recommended

What to eat:No matter how religious you are with doing his workout, you won’t go very far if you don’t watch what you eat as well. Much like any kind of workout, this workout will only really be effective when coupled with a sound eating plan. Daniel Craig for sure didn’t get that James Bond body by eating junk food, right? Whether you have to lose fat or gain muscle to achieve the same build as Daniel Craig, you have to eat five to six times in a day. No starving yourself! Creating a caloric deficit will aid in boosting fat-burning processes but this also shuts down your metabolism so you don’t get any fat burning done.

Alongside Daniel Craig’s workout, make sure that you get whole foods like whole-grain bread, vegetables, rice, and lean meats, while staying away from preservatives and salt, enriched flour, alcohol, chips, soda, candy, and fried food. The latter group of foods does not only have little nutritional value but they are also high in everything you should be avoiding so they clearly won’t do anything good for you.

A balanced meal that will complement your workout is made up of healthy fats, carbohydrates, and protein. You can get your dose of healthy fats from nuts and avocados and healthy oils, like flaxseed, olive, and canola, while your carbohydrates can come from fruits and vegetables, whole-grain breads, sweet potatoes, oats, and rice. As for the protein in your diet, egg whites, fish, turkey, and chicken are good sources. It is important that you eat a balanced meal because this ensures that you will get all the nutrients you need to power through a workout while optimizing your metabolism for superior fat-burning results. You can also snack on low-fat dairy products a couple of times in a day, if you want. Daniel Craig was not exactly lean so you will need to bulk up a bit if you really want a James Bond physique by enjoying whole-grain breads and healthy pastas.

How to eat:Eating a balanced meal should be able to give you the energy you need for a thorough exercise routine while at the same time ensuring that you don’t get too much glycogen that your body can easily turn into fat.  As for your actual meals, make sure that you eat bulk of your carbohydrates within your first four meals as much as possible and that you don’t eat a lot of carbs during the evening so your body can switch to burning fat more efficiently as you sleep. If you need to have a late night meal, make sure it doesn’t sabotage your workout by replacing carbs with healthy fats. Healthy fats are more calorie-dense so they give will give you more energy to go on.
